Expo 58.

The World Exposition. It was held here in Brussels in 1958. Similar to Le Tour de Eiffle the structure built in 58 was suppose to be deconstructed, but was so popular it has remained. This large atom has even appeared in well known comics. We have visited it several times since being in Belgium. This day we went inside of it. There is a restaurant, but it was reserved for a group that day. We did not know that until we were at the top. It was disappointing not to eat there, but the view was spectacular!
Some original posters.
A model of the Expo.
Going up.
She looks a bit worried.
The family.
Show and tell.
Maybe it is what he was pointing at.
Waiting for the elevator to the top.
Mini Europe to the right.
The large building behind the water is where they hold expositions and things.
Huh?
More show and tell.
Greenery and fountain.
View 1.
I liked the 50s little model chairs.
More display stuff.
With the sun.
Looking up.
Big cheese.
Without sun...the clouds come quickly here.
