Snow for Christmas.

The weather seems a bit colder globally this year. It doesn't snow every year in Belgium, but this year it did. A few days before Christmas we had our first snow of the season. I am not originally from a place where it snows, so I found it exciting to see it snow. I like watching the action, snowing and I think the snow is quite beautiful. However, I am aware that it isn't always pleasant to walk in and no fun at all to drive in.
She was wearing the hat in preparation to going outside.
Gotta love the close-ups.
The little area just outside of building.
We went outside to play because I said I wanted to build a snowman. Sébastien actually ended up doing all the work. I strolled around with Léa taking pictures.
Here is one of our car.
Ha!
The family.
And one more of us.
Dusk/night with snow and tower.

Pajamas from the states.

Of course since she is my daughter, Léa is absolutely adorable in any outfit to me, but I really really like these once piece pajamas. My parents sent a bunch from the states.
Sébastien plays the bass guitar sometimes. Léa enjoys dancing to his music. I mean she really likes hard rock and heavy metal.
She really took to the walking and practiced all the time. It is a bit dark at times, but it is a video of her walking for a while.

Christmas pictures and card.

We picked a nice artificial white tree. It was really pretty. Especially in the evenings with the colored lights.
Reflections.
After the cameramommy.
Clapping.
White with red. And a little accent of green for the pictures.

The lights had several settings.
Sébastien managed to capture a shot when all the colors were on.
A little work with photoshop. I had fun learning.

It was fun. I look forward to doing next years cards.

Getting better.

Once she began walking she really practiced all the time. I like the foot tapping at the end.

Its begins...

Léa has started taking steps on her own. She actually walked about five or six steps at a time twice, but the times I had the camera ready she fell short.
At least one more step the second time.

Boxer robe.

I just adore this picture. A great smile. She is in her bath robe. I think she looks like a little boxer.

Waterloo Battlefield.

We have been wanting to make a trip to Waterloo, but each weekend something comes up, we are tired, or the weather would not allow decent pictures. This weekend there was some sun.
Since Léa's hair is short it sticks up after she sleeps. This morning she really seemed to have some bed head.
I just like this profile smile.
We wanted this picture as we drove up.
Napoleon's symbol.
We many things to get Léa to look towards the camera and possibly smile too.
The monument and some of the battlefield.
The hill.
A bit closer.
Even closer.
I like the angle.
